We are the ones to watch though.

P.O.M

A quick round-up of what looks good on The Coolhunter at the moment.

When you need an instant structure for fixing anything in a space with no infrastructure an Autopole is an adjustable brace from floor to ceiling.
No good for the Triangle Space though with a limit of 3.7m.

scriptographer is a plugin under development for illustrator by Jonathan Puckey.
could be an idea for generating images of the final year class?

here seen on FFFFOUND! one solution to presenting work
These backroll supports for photographers are common (Alex has two) and cost around £100 from calumet.

ecofont (link to download) is a font with holes in designed to reduce ink usage and save money and resources.

blurb:

The prints we make for our 'daily use' not only use paper, but also ink. According to SPRANQ creative communications (Utrecht, The Netherlands) your ink cartridges (or ink toner) could last longer.
SPRANQ has therefore developed a new font: the Ecofont.

"After Dutch holey cheese, there now is a Dutch font with holes as well."

Appealing ideas are often simple: how much of a letter can be removed while maintaining readability? After extensive testing with all kinds of shapes, the best results were achieved using small circles. After lots of late hours (and coffee) this resulted in a font that uses up to 20% less ink. Free to download, free to use.

What makes it a red carpet event apart from a red carpet and a ropes/posts (called stanchions?! by the way)..

Art Dispensing Machine
Thinking about ways to view individual work (as in LCF show) and provide something to take away for visitors - could make something similar to print out a selection of work/alternative to a show catalogue?
