Thinking about ways to view individual work (as in LCF show) and provide something to take away for visitors - could make something similar to print out a selection of work/alternative to a show catalogue?

Although you can still go to www.brighterchelsea.com and see the show site and some photos, the 07/08 show blog died when 'uber' the company hosting it closed without warning earlier this year. I do have a pdf with some of it but its a long job to copy and paste that lot out again into a blog format. So for now here are some images from it..

projection is getting very big and very sharp click on these images to see the detail (grabbed from video).

When London Coll. Fashion asked Moving Brands to re-design their show as an interactive library here's what happened..

Ever wondered how a lighting company like 'white light' approaches rigging in a space with no theatrical lighting grid and domestic power supply? Here see the use of led lamps as uplighters as seen in the banqueting hall chelsea.

polystyrene can be milled, is recyclable, can take colour, can be made from coloured balls, takes projection and is light to transport.

From the last private view for future reference.

Budget £350:

28 cases of bottled beer (mix of peroni, corona and san miguel)
10 bags of sugar
10 packets of mint
8 limes (for corona)
5 small bottles of grenadine
10 bottles sparkling water (too much)
10 cartons orange juice (too much)
6 cartons cranberry juice
20 bags of ice (needed more like 30 and maybe 10 more for the next day)
3 corkscrews (we all forgot to bring our own)

Sponsored drinks:

36 bottles white port
12 bottles red wine
12 bottles white wine (could have used another 3-4)
Many bottles of tonic water

'Less Ordinary' cocktail recipe:

8 parts port
8 parts sugar syrup
1 part grenadine topped up with tonic and garnished with mint leaves.

Points to remember:

- Sainburys need a weeks notice for delivery of bulk orders.
- Ice needs to be bought on the day by strong people who are preferably not hungover.
- Budget for cointreau this year to make the cocktail nicer!
